Offtake Distribution Partnership
Offtake distribution partnership with Wogen, a leading global magnesium metal trader
The agreement covers production from Arkansas Magnesium and includes a $10M line of credit for use during Commercial Phase 2 commissioning. Demand for Magrathea's metal currently totals approximately $800M/year of future revenue. Arkansas Magnesium’s Commercial Phase II plant will produce 10,000 tonnes/year of magnesium.
Government Support
The U.S. Department of War and the U.S. Department of Energy have backed Magrathea
The U.S. Department of War awarded Magrathea a $19.6M grant under the Defense Production Act Title III program. DPA Title III is reserved for projects that address direct gaps in the defense industrial base. Magrathea is the only magnesium producer receiving this support.
